Available Lessons at DJ4LIFE

At DJ4Life, we strive for simple, effective instruction. We offer three different proficiency levels, including a hands-on opportunity to perform live. We are also experts in mixing electronic music.

DJ4LIFE stands out from competition in our ability to bring you the best instructors one-on-one. Our LA instructor D:Fuse has been voted in Top 30 USA DJs by DJ Times. He is often described as DJ. Producer. Remixer. Drummer. Vocalist. Musician. Human.

• Level I: - Detailed explanation of equipment and set up, how to do proper beat matching and create smooth transitions in between the songs, phasing, cueing, and more. You will be required to bring your music on CDs and we will help you develop your own mixing style. All sessions are One-on-One with instructor. Recommended for beginners. 3 sessions at 1.5 hrs within three weeks. You can pick day / time.

• Level II: This level will teach you How to use EQ to enhance the smoothness of your mixes., How to build your set based on music that you like, and we will even have you record your own demo mix. Three sessions of 1.5 hrs, meets once a week. All sessions are One-on-One with instructor.

• Level III: The ultimate in dee-jaying—You’re taking’ it to the stage in three unique opportunities to showcase your DJ skills at DJ4LIFE sponsored event.

• Level IV: An International DJ-this is the ultimate DJ level where you add an Int’l experience to your dj resume by having an opportunity through DJ4Life to play Int'l. This level is by invitation only- and cost is approximately $2,000.

Equipment and materials

At DJ4Life, starting out is simple: we provide all the equipment. The only thing you need to bring is your passion—and the music you are most interested in working with. Your instructors will then teach you how to mix your favorite tunes with the beats and flow needed to create an unforgettable evening or event.
